Schedule Management is the act of communicating, developing and maintaining schedules within the specified time frame and available resources.

A Construction Project Management Schedule is the order of activities for a given project. It shows the progress of the project work over a given period and considering some project constraints such as limited resources and government regulations.

The Scheduling Process begins with the tasks that are required to deliver the stakeholder requisite. The estimated time to perform the job is only considered in this method, while others could give room for resource and productivity rates.

Typically, the schedule is focused on technical activity to save the project output. It has become common to include Scheduling Management activities, such as the Communication Activity, Quality Control Activity, or Activity Specialist. In some cases, it is combined with a full schedule and sometimes has different forms, though there should be a mechanism to monitor interfaces between programs.
